Busy week...

Busy week... BUSY week @,@
First of all, maybe some of you remember I had booked tickets for Reel Big Fish, which... by the way, was the most awesome concert ever x3! But I'll get back on that later.
Monday, it went great and at the end of the day I decided to catch up with some friends at Amsterdam Central, going through the shops a bit and loafing around for the sake of it. We had a lot of fun, and I met a new friend x3~! On the train back with Marc he mentioned that Ayabie was going to perform the other day (tuesday) so I was like; That's kewl.. should we go?
So that's where our quest was to gather friends for the concert Ayabie, Japanse Pop/Rock band. But obviously, no one could go due that it was midst the week of school. (which I should've considered aswell..) so eventualy decided to go on our own, and by sheer luck, we gotten the last 2 tickets! It was pretty fun, we hardly knew anything of the band and kept going like; "oh yeah.. we're going to Utrecht for the concert... who did we go for again?"
All in all we had a lot of fun that day, and went to the Ayabie concert, had a few failed attempt to Moshpit midst the screaming fangirls and anime obsessed/otaku's. Also grunted to the music just for the sake of it.. it adds a whole new dimension to it all XD! And at the end of the concert we did some weed... it was pretty scary my first time, and due that I already had a mysteriously high blood pressure... my heart felt like it got torn out the first minutes... stoned in the train back to home, we again found a friend we met at the concert and had some silly after... ehm... words @,@ wasn't too sober. So now Priscella (the girl I me) and I are bestest friends x3 lol
The next day, wednsday I went to school again at 6 am and was strangely well focused, finished my projects etc and at the end, 5pm, went out straight to Amsterdam Central again for the Reel Big Fish concert... didn't had any friends with me, again due it being in the middle of the week and it being a genre of music not everyone could appreciate (ska/punk) but yeah... took a bite at the Burger King before I went and had lots of fun.. biggest moshpit ever and although I'm not much of a punk fan, I danced, moshed and jumped along to all the 4 bands before Reel Big Fish aswell. it was so awesome o.O! I almost passed out @,@
After that... I had to leave at the third encore song due to catching the last train. In which I found another new friend x3.. age 25 male and he just suddenly came sit next to me in the half empty train, he could sit anywhere, but chose next to me, appearantly he could see I was a biggie on music and listened all kinds. lol XD so we started to talk about music, we were both a bit of all-round music lovers, with him choosing a specialisation on industrial, and me going on rock/metal... so I still need to add him to msn because we promised both to advice eachother stuff and go out and have some fun sometime. Also he promised me free tickets to Summer of Darkness festival, so that ought to be fun ^_^ ! appearantly a friend of his hands out free tickets to random winners... and said I had a really high chance XD!
Sadly, my week of insomnia didn't end there, the next day I was completely beat @,@ zombified and kindoff slept in the train, passed school.. and decided to head back home again XD~! sleeping.
Saturday was a movie night at a friends house, which I randomly got drunk at... rather weird since I really didn't drink so much, but yeah, I didn't had a good basic and I kindoff mixed around a bit. Finaly went to bed around 4 AM. And the monday we all went to the pool, had movie night at another friend and ended up in my house @,@ Random fun whilst upstairs my father was sleeping with his new girlfriend. Whoopy~!
And now here I am, a bit sobbing that I missed out a friend being on msn due me oversleeping. She got on at 8:30.. which is about 2:30 her time in America, she's having a hard time and I really wish I could've been there for her... so sad. ~Writting my message here.
So that's about it, short nights, long days... headache @,@ hoping I can still make school tomorrow. Gotta finish some homework and cut off from this really really long blog I'm writting here. So seeya soon all and have a nice day.

Gawd I'm listening Aphex Twins an awefull lot lately... iAphex Acid!
Anyways, I recently got my graphic tablet back to work again aswell
as Adobe Photoshop CS, so I went off drawing again ^_^
whoopdidoo!

And not long afterwards I got a comment from my favourite DA'er
"saying no to anime in deviantart is such a dangerous activity...
but I second you, more originality is necessary"
Now I'm not really against anime, my picture was a pure random
shoutout... but J-o-a-n is right ^_^ More originality is needed!
Anime is nice, but it's just a variation on a theme, so it doesn't
change all that much.

It's not an anti-anime project, just showing support for originality!
My plan is to make a contract/thingy to sign and sent back with an
official (matterial) picture through snail-mail to show their support
for originality, but I'm going to need some time to realize everything
of the plan and set it all up.
After that, my goal is to make a poster/picture with atleast 50, 100,
who knows how many people on it who signed the contract ^_^
Details will be filled up later, if you wanna sign up in advance feel
free to leave a comment and I hope to be able to tell you more
soon ^_~

Finaly a new idea has been formed inside my head for a new flash,
after days of brainstorming. Clockwork Girl.. of wich the name is
still in process as the flash itself... once finished a definite name will
be given. Untill than I'll call it Flash Project Clockwork.
Inspired on the music of Aphex Twin - Nannou I've started sketches
for dolls and screws and sprocket wheels. And what the outcome'll
be you'll just have to wait and see, but I'll try my best to keep you
all informed as to my progression and maybe show some scraps
now and than. So please look forward to it ^_^ I know I will, and
keep checking back.

Flash-O-Graphy

Flash projects are a hard process, first... the mind produces an idea
wich will set the work started as a story starts evolving, pencils
sketching away on the sketchboard, erasers erasing as the idea
expands. Now the animating has finaly begun, days... maybe weeks
after the idea has been born and still it's nowhere near finished, as
the finalization has begun on character design and complete
animations... working out every detail on the movie to create the
sublime atmosphere and feel that has been desired since the start.
Sweat and restless nights pass as the work progresses only barely,
adding sounds and effects to bring to live that soul that'll make it
shine out between everything else... as another masterpiece has
been created.
The light fades away from the working table.

Ignorant and stupid as I may be, I tend to skip a few steps, mostly
the first ones, aswell as most of the last steps... wich has lead to
countless flash works, all evening the success of few hours toilet work.
And I'm proud of every last one of them ^_^
Before I even finished my first project, I must've atleast made about
50 flash files, experimenting with everything there was to experiment
about on Flash MX. Testing my drawings and how to animate them,
aswell as faint works to games... all in vain however, but not to waste.

"Forgotten Memories" was born
********************************************************
The very first flash project has finaly been released and finished to
the detail as it got submitted to Newgrounds.com on 27 december
2004 at 09:22PM EST, wich must've been atleast 10:22 PM here in
Holland. A complete week has been filled in this project, having
started solely on the idea of a godforsaken world... city, with people
living their everyday lives with their last energy... working for the
system untill they die. Untill one day sightings of a butterfly are
reported.
This idea has changed however, as all my ideas have and probably
always will. As it grew into a philosophy about how forgotten
memories, can make any evidence of existance fade away into
nothingness untill it never existed at all. As thus the progress of
the erasing of everything surrounding the existance of the last
butterfly, giving a cold and soulless atmosphere of that godforsaken
city.
Restlessly I stared at my monitor all night to see wether it would
get through the hellish fires of Newgrounds Blammers... watching
my score rise and drop as the seconds slowed down so unbearably
slow... As finaly it got through ^_^
Nowadays it's living quietly with a Newgrounds score 3.61/5.00
Not long later has it's edit "Forgotten Memories-C-PPK* made it's
debute, wich stood for Compressed (empty flash directed to another
site) PPK - Resurection (An old Trance hit that my friend Erik had
adviced me to put up the music instead of the original Cage tune I
had chosen)
This fitted very nicely, but I always considered it as 2 seperates,
since the Cage tune setted my perfect mood. Nontheless, many
complains have been received due the annoyance of repetetion
and overlapping of the tune. Though the score had been lowered
a lot due the fact that the filesize was decreased by uplinking it
from another site, making people blam-vote it without looking,
such a pitty.

Gloomball's Debute

Gloomball introduced itself to me as I was working on one of my
many flash tests, this time testing myself on animating the physics
of a ball's weight on a wire... in high slowmotion. Not long after that
test was complete I found myself working up an advertisement board
attached to the wires revealing to me the name Gloomball as my
tests kept expanding, changing styles and animation effects as I went
on. Growing larger and larger as eventualy I found myself creating a
complete new flash project off effects, physics, and mostly focused,
arts...
This project grown from a mere physic test to an art project, trying
out my different styles and blending them together.. wich worked
well.. especialy if you consider that I worked it all out in less than
24 hours... starting around/past midnight and finishing/releasing it

Ending itself with a fairly nice score of 2.98/5.00 and some cool fans

It's been over a year and I still haven't with flash, ever since my
illness fell over me it cursed me and made me stop making my little
flash projects... untill recently when I finaly talked to Erik again after
a long time. And came to the conclusion that my flash movies are all
about just starting, without ideas... as I've always did, and maybe
always will do... so I'm busy again and reporting my live status ^_^
Thanks to all of you reading this and hopefully see you soon (atleast
before christmas) with a new card/flash!
